HURRICANE DAMAGE 

COMMERCIAL ROOF REPLACEMENT

Discovery:

  • Property owned by private equity group in receivership
  • Owners called on our services to inspect roof systems after hurricane
  • Inspection results confirmed wind damage to metal roof systems and ballast TPO roof systems
  • Inspection noted improper roof installation did not meet wind standards

Objective:

  • Walk ownership through getting claim started
  • Met adjusters and carrier consultants onsite
  • Agreed roof needed to be replaced to meet local code and industry standard for wind zones
  • Retain all lease holding in place by temporary roof dry in while working out claim and schedule
  • Flat roof temporary dry in was an SPF foam and polyurea coating roof system

Result:

  • Owners received a new tapered fully adhered TPO roof system along with new standing seam metal roof system
  • Roofing was completed and inspected by the city and manufacturer for 20 year NDL warranty
  • Insurance proceeds covered the owners cost of roof and façade repairs
  • Client still call us today for storm damage and capital repairs
